I have a 2002 YZ426F that I purchased new. The bike runs great and has about 80 to 100 hours on it. The oil and filter has been changed every two rides, and the air filter has been cleaned every ride. I'm thinking it is time for a piston. My questions are...
1. Which piston is the best?
2. How long do ti valves last?
3. Should the timing chain be replaced?
4. Will a synthetic oil keep the new rings from sealing? (I use Motorex 10W50)
5. Does this engine even need rebuilt?
