YZF - Oversize inlet valves not sealing
I've just been putting my big-bore YZF back together (after some machining work on the piston crown), and noticed a slight leakage through the inlet valves.. :ugg: I recently had Kibblewhite oversize valves installed, maybe the shop didn't finish the job too well? I'm wondering if I can sort this out myself? I've never touched valves before, but am reasonably competent with a spanner.. Is it just a case of lapping them in with grinding paste? The bike still seems to have plenty of compression, starts & idles fine, so I guess I'll take it to the local kart track for a shake down tomorrow.. Thanks in advance, JonE.
