zipty KX500 stuff

When I crank the throttle on my KX 500, the front end tries to come up. That's EXACTLY the kind of response I want and expect!!

Hey zipty tell me more about your bike and what sort of riding you do. Im looking for a new bike, exc300 is good but a couple of friends suggest a new kx500. Whats it like in the tight stuff?

I recently read the review in DIRTBIKE of the "big" bikes, etc....520MXC vs. HONDA XR650 vs. KX500--one thing that caught my eye was the continuous remarks about the KX500 not having good throttle response...

OK, I'm not sure what bike they were riding, but it wasn't mine. They either had their head up their asses with jetting or the pipe sucks on the bike. By the pipe, I mean the Zip-Ty lowboy pipe that goes with their new-fangled tank and shrouds. And here's the question: It looks reasonable, but IMHO not better than stock, and certainly looks heavy. They sell a KX KIT from their site. I'd be possibly interested if I wasn't certain the "lowboy" pipe and silencer blew the power as much as they seem to relate in their review. (They never talked about stock vs. Zip-Ty)

Anyone here have the setup? And if so, how's it really perform?
