How To Perform a Leak Down Test on a 4-Stroke Motorcycle

In this video we demonstrate how to use the Motion Pro 4-Stroke Leak Down Tester on a Yamaha YZ250F. It is designed to check the amount of cylinder leakage in a 4-stroke engine, with an air source of 70 to 200 psi (4.8 to 11 bar). The gauge will register the total percentage of leakage past the rings, head gasket, intake and exhaust valves. This process speeds up troubleshooting problems and helps to isolate bad components.
