I talked to a buddy of mine who just bought an '01 YZ250F and after a few rides it started making a loud grinding/whinning noise from the clutch area. Noise increases with RPM. He took it to Pro-Circuit but they haven't gotten around to checking it out yet.
Anyone experienced any problems like this with the 250F?
He was told that some 125 riders that go to the 4 stroke use the clutch too much and this could lead to breakage. Sounds like crank bearings or something to me. He said the clutch was still working fine.
