02 300EXC Power Problem

Need some help on this one....

This past Sunday at the LBJ Enduro in SC I experienced something on a KTM I have never before. Bike was running smooth until all of a sudden it felt like the 300 turned into a 125...no low / mid or top end power...

Checked fuel to the carb..air flow...nothing...proceeded and the power suddenly came back after about 2 or 3 miles...

Towards the end of the race the power went away again and never returned. Seemed to have happened with a hard landing each time?

Does anyone have any idea what the heck is wrong? Any suggestions on where to start?

Just a stab in the dark.... think your power-valve linkage may have come off??? Did the engine run badly when this happened?? Maybe a loose electrical connection???
