04 yz 250 forks leaking question

looking at my 04 yz250 forks after riding the past 2 times I see the forks are leaking from the very top cap ( I think) first time out it was the left fork this last time it was from the right fork... is this normal for new forks? it's not much oil but enough to just about lightly cover the upper fork part. Jeff.

Is the air screw on top loose? Forks should not leak at any time.

you sure its not the breather for the gas tank blowing gas over them? ive seen that once.

My '04 YZ450 collected dust around the fork caps from the residual oil left from the factory. After I washed it a couple times it stopped. Wipe it down with some soap and water and see if it keeps leaking.

you know....I don't know how I missed this. The tank vint tube was ran right up there...( DOE!!!). thanks, I moved it so I will check it out the next time I ride.
