I think honda switch to the mikuni carb, my 2000 has a kehin, and it does foul plugs, about one a month ;)

Joepro9, my '00 cr250 has a the same carb and i've only fouled one plug at break in, but i run the honda oil at 32:1 w VP c12 and have the jetting leaned out out 45, 175 3rd clip it stills runs a touch rich i'm thinking about moving to the 2nd clip...what oil and gas are you running?

I have a 2002 cr 250 also. from day 1 it has been blowing spooge out the exhaust. I mix 50:1 synthetic, doesn't matter what kind because they all do the same thing just smell diffrent. I has been way rich so I dropped the main to 360 the pilot to a 27.5 adjusted the float to sit lower in the bowel and put the optional needle(i think a 72) in the middle clip, adjusted air screw to 1.75 out. it is pretty good, possibly too lean on the main but I haave not been able to heat it up yet so not a big issue.

45 piolet, 175 main :) ans in the 2nd clip. I run klotzs super teniplate or castor 927 @ 32:1 I used to run suzuki cci, but it spooged like crazy but klotz and the maxima dont. 93 pump.
