who can talk to me about softening up the forks on my '87?
rebuilt this thing from the ground up (engine, tranny, suspension, chassis, etc.). it's a neat little bike (at 214 lb.), & i'm thinking about keeping it for an occasional break from my regular ride, and as a spare for my friends.
the forks have new seals & new oil. the springs are stock. they're fine for low-speed compressoin/rebound..., but i'd sure like to soften up the high-speed compression. anybody with experience putting gold-valves in these things?
