I ride a '87 KDX200 (I know it's ancient, but it's fun) and the back suspension is getting pretty shagged. The ball joints at the end of the vertical control arm are clapped out and the local Kawa shop reckons you can't buy replacement ones.
Do you guys have any contacts for suppliers for that kind of stuff ?
Thanks for your help,
Nitram

Go to http://www.buykawasaki.com and locate the diagram of your bike, and see if the part you have there has a part #. If so, get the entire part # and then go to http://www.ronayers.com , get their # and order the part from them. They are a really cheap OEM source.
If you can't find your part for whatever reason, you can find whole shock assemblies and the like on e-bay.

Wow, that's a good site. Prices look pretty good, looks like $49 for a kick starter assembly!

You can also get replacement swingarm or linkage bearings from Pivot Works. They may not list the '87, but if you have measurements/dimensions from your current ones they can usually match them up. Try them at www.pivotworks.com. I would be very disappointed that the dealer couldn't provide you with this information.
