'89 vs '90 CR250 pros/cons ?

looking at either a '89 or '90 CR250 for decade racing anyone have any recommendations/opinions. Thanks have a great day

the '90 had a killer engine with bad suspension, the shock was passable, the forks were horrible. still a better bike than the '89.

my buddy has a 90 I believe. Great bike. Very reliable.
