I'm new here, but have been riding for decades and reading up on all the great tips you guys post. I love it - thanks so much! I intend to try to give back as I get back into the sport.
I'll admit, I'm biased toward Honda, but have also owned KTMs - in this case, the TC is a KTM SX copycat. Which I'm more than fine with.
As I mentioned, I'm getting back into the sport. I'd like to have a bike to play ride on, over-maintain, and slowly upgrade from my uses. I'm a novice rider, but certainly love the snap and handling of an MX bike. Not interested in any enduros, currently.
Terrain:
- 90% Woods, OHV type trails, family land.
- 10% MX type riding
Maintenance I will do as I've done all sorts of things up to rebuilding entire engines. Not afraid of this in the least and its a big part of the joy for me.
I'm attracted to the KTM/Husky for the brakes, the clutch, the power...
I'm attracted to the Honda for its legendary reliability and I've just always wanted one.
There seems to be a full generation of development with the TC/SX of development that the Honda does not have. How much should I value that?
