Hey guys i found out i have an "A" piston in my yz 125 and i have a little piston slap. Im wondering what im looking at to match the piston up with an "A" cylinder. I would replace the piston instead but theres a little knick in the cylinder wall..
If you were to purchase a Yamaha piston from the dealer, you would need to tell him it is an "A" cylinder. If you buy a Wiseco, it won't matter. If there is a nick in the cylinder, you need to get it replated. If it's more than a nick, you may have to have it repaired and then replated. A good shop can recommend what you should do...
