the owner of the Torque Center in New Berlin, Wis has had surgery and is in critical condition.
Anyone who has raced in District 16 (WIS) has at one time or another probably run into Mike. He and his wife Gayle have traveled to most of the tracks with the Torque Center trailer full of race essentials. They have been fantastic supporters of racing thru the years. Often Mike has seen to it that riders who were short on cash still had those new tires, goggles or whatever so they could compete that day knowing he would get paid as soon as the money was available. Mike and Gayle also have sponsored many race series- most noticeably is the Double cross (Geneva and Aztalan) and the MX RAcer Old Blasters senior Nationals at Byron, RedBud, Spring Creek and Aztalan.
Anyone feeling the urge to help how about dropping a get well card to him to let him and Gayle know we are pulling for them.
