Athena 05-07 YZ144 piston kit question

Hello, does anyone know if the oversize 58mm wiseco piston kit will work in the 05-07 Yamaha 144 Athena cylinder kit? Anyone have the Wiseco part number? It seems like the wiseco piston kit is easier to get than the Athena piston. Thanks!

Never seen an Athena yet, the Wiseco has a flat top and a 10 degree angle at the outer edge.

Thanks for all the responses. I have already been running one of the Athena 144 cylinder kits and I was just interested in seeing if a wiseco piston will work. I am considering an E-Gorr 144 kit for my other bike though.

anyone know if cases have to be split to install athena kit to grind cases or will the plastersine trick work. if so any good tips as to how to go about doing this.

was told get some putty and a dremel to grind the case :-)...but I dont think on the 05 and up bikes require that....look at the athena 144 kit and it will tell ya if anything has to be modified on bottom end itself!

what kind of clay did use? I just got my kit and was going to try and get away with out opening up the bottom end. So any elaboration on how you did it would be helpful
