Just wondering what all of the frequent daytime posters do for work. Are you in front of a computer all day at work or do you work at night or perhaps indepenantly wealthy like myself? LOL! ;)
The systems I build are computer controlled so even though I'm not sitting in an office (except for lunch) I have access to the internet all day as long as I don't get caught.
Yep, office/desk job for this little lady... er... chick. I answer phones and do little projects, but for the most part I have most of the day (for now) to read the news and stalk people via the internet. :) Hehehe. Thank goodness for DRN. I'd be bored otherwise. ;) :aj:
I work in a call center and have to have internet access all day long, so inbetween incoming calls I get to do some surfing. This is my most frequent stop.
Honestly, I keep trying to work on my access database, but the screen flickers, and DRN is displayed!
It happens soo many times a day, I just about give up on doing any real work.
I think I call computer support, and complain.
Wait, I am computer support
Ok, I've got it all fixed. No more annoying spreadsheets, or DBs!;)
I sit at a workstation all day designing motorcycles. All the bikes we design around here are big road bikes so when I need a fix I hit my shortcut to DRN.....
I sneak on when I can if I'm home. I sometimes come home because I need to pick up something and I er well...check on important internet stuff like DRN! Oh yeah and my e mail too.
I have high speed access at home and work. I work for a consuliting Engineering firm as a Sr. Technical Specialist (land line phone systems). When there is not a lot going on I will post a lot during the day, and check in at night if I board. If I busy I just check in on breaks and lunch.
Programmer/Analyst, well that's the title anyway! ;) Things are really sssllooooww right now so I'm doing internet research, yeah, that's it, internet research :p
