Brighter lights

Anybody know how I can make a 6v system have brighter head/tail light? Somebody told me to throw in a 12v battery and somebody else said wire a 9v battery to it. I didn't think eiether of those would work but maybe they would? I just need it brighter 1 day to pass inspection. Let me know if anybody has any ideas. It's really not too bad now I just wanna be safe.

I thought about trying new bulb but couldnt find one w/o ordering it so I didnt think it make that big of a difference

I think a new bulb might work. Im pretty sure you have seen those cars driving at night and they have those bright blue bulbs. I wanna say they are XEON. Not sure though. But a new bulb should work.
