Hey all, I have a '90 KX250 that the end of the clutch cable broke off at the handle end. Is there any method to replace these cables and pinch/press new ferrels on the ends? I ordered a new cable assmy at $26 and the dealer just acted like there is no way to fix a broken cable. I'm sure I could fab some sort of ends and come up with a fix, but I was just wondering if there was an easier way since I'm new at this.
Thanks

Someone posted a link to repairing cable ends a while back, you'll have to try to search it out. It was in this sub-forum, if I remember.

Also-Motion Pro make replacement cables at about 1/3-1/2 the cost of OEM. I've had great luck with their products.
