I don't see Alessi listed anywhere.

It was initially reported that he would ride the 250 class at Millville, and then compete in the 125 class at Glen Helen (the last round of the series, Sept. 12). The latest issue of Cycle News reports that he will not compete outdoors in the US again until the first round of the '05 series, and he is not planning on racing the SX series, either.

No kidding? I thought he was going to race the rest of the outdoor season. Seems like a lot of hype for just one race.
Tortelli sure is racing well since his return.

Give him a break, puberty can be stressfull.

That said, if he gets his head on right and gets strong enough to hold the bike...he is gonna put some spankin' on quite a few people.

He is fast, and has a lot of talent, he's just not as fast or talented as his mouth thinks he is. :|

OK, I read the 125's 3-4 times, anyone know what happened to Nate-dog?
Also, looks like Joaquim (sp?) is the real deal.

I drove a cannary yellow VW Bug, had a pile of zits, and was on the golf team. No, I was convinced I was doomed to be a geek for life. Then I bought a dirtbike. Oh how things have changed!

In the Cycle News Millville coverage (August 25 issue), Tony says Mike might go to Europe and ride a GP or two this season. Next year, Jeff Alessi will turn pro, and they plan to contest the AMA outdoor circuit together.

I read somewhere that Alessi's Honda deal was for amature events only.

IMO, the plan for '04 was always to have one or two glimpses of Mike so that the bidding would start for his '05 services.

It's moto suicide if you ask me. Tony A. must have $$ in the eyes. You know that ever since Bubba started making money he has slowed way down, lost his edge.

What happened to K-dub? Not very good finishes.
Ya Tortelli is doing well!
Windham did good in the fist moto but crashed hard in the second. He got back up and was waaay back in last, at least 20 seconds behind the next to last rider. He flew through the pack to get to 12th. He did get lapped by RC though and Reed wasn't too far behind.

I saw Kevin in the pits afterwards and he didn't look too happy. But ya know what, he still signed autographs for a bunch of kids...a class act.
