I have a couple 1986 Suzuky DR 125's and I have the front forks apart to rebuild them and the slider on one is pitted really bad. Im sure it will leak again once I get it back together.

The price of a slider is going to be between $75 - $150. I am waiting for a more acurate price.

BUT, my question is, can the old slider with the pits be fixed or something done so I can still use it and it not leak anymore. I dont want to put a lot of money into these biks since they are just for teaching my kids and wife how to ride.

Thanks,
J

Clean the pitted spots of any dirt or rust and apply Devcon steel epoxy. I use something like a toothpick for small spots. Then file and sand down to original contour. Be sure you have the pits clean so the Devcon will stick well.
