I recently aquired a 1970's 250 Yamaha Enduro for free.
I'm having a problem figuring out what is happening with the wiring, as nothing was hooked up when I picked the bike up. I was wondering if you guys can help me out, here are the following colred wires:
From the engine - black, dark yellow, light yellow, green
From the coil - black
From the resistor (basically wrapped copper wire mounted to the frame) - 2 yellow wires
From a small square panel mounted to the frame - red, white
There are also the following wires that were wound under the seat, not connected to anything: 2 brown wires (2 ends connected to eachother, 2 ends open), yellow + yellow/green (connected at one end)
I'm assuming some of it is from the ignition, but the only part of the ignition that remains is attatched to the frame, the plug is missing.
Can anyone help? Thanks!
