So this bike is new(to me). Its a 75' DT100 Its been leaking a greenish substance. The bike still runs fine though.

In the pic is two little red circles. In the right circle is the little nut shaped thing with a screw in the top. Its leaking! In the left circle is a cap with a little thing inside that looks like the screw on top should fit into it.

Can you tell me what it is and what it does?

Ive done a few repairs, but I've never had the occasion to deal with this part. ANY input would be welcomed!

Thank you!

The right circle is around the neutral indicator. There should be a wire attached to the screw, which goes to your neutral light.

The cap in the left circle is to protect the clutch lever mechanism from dust/water. There should be a cap on the neutral indicator too.

Well, turns out it was just loose! Yup, not my smartest moment :coocoo: ! As for the cap, if its only a neutral indicator then im not going to sweat it. The Speedo doesnt work anyway. And trust me, one less reason to look down when im riding is a good thing!
