I like my 50 tooth rear sprocket on the CR250 in the woods, but since I am somewhat new at the MX, the power delivery is a bit abrubt for me when attempting the jumps. Would changing the rear sprocket to a 48 tooth tame the hit a bit. Essentially, this would be similar to taking a jump in a higher gear correct? I assume this will also space my gears a bit so I am not always in 5th gear when not on the track. The goal is to make jumping a bit easier.
Any opinions on rear sprocket changes in this situation.
