for some time my clutch has felt like it slips,i put it in 1st and it tries to creep forward,today i went to put it in 1st and it stalls,its a 94 rm 250.will i need a whole new clutch or just pressure plates and/or friction plates?help please.dont wanna buy all new bits if there is no need

I think all u need are friction plates !! Its been known if the bike creaps, and jumps when u put it in gear from neutral, that its the friction plates or glazed clutch plates. Try lightly sanding or having the clutch plates bead blasted ! (200 grit) Im having clutch probs. as well LOL ! :laugh: Hope it helps good luck :cool:

DP makes a pretty good clutch kit. It includes steels, frictions and springs. It lasted better than OEM in my kx85 that i used to have. Replace both types of plates, because you want to avoid future problems. The DP kit should be cheaper for you, since you have a pit bike... about $110, I think.
