I put a 51t on a 03 cr 250 and like it,the problem is it is very close to the alluminum chain guide is this safe to run?can i add a link?It is the stock 114 link chain.Has anybody ran with this size sprocket?
I'm runing a 13/51 combo and have no problems- but my bike is a 97 CR250R. I put a new chain on it at the time of the sprocket change and just cut it to fit.
