Draining the carb

Does anybody know how to drain the float bowl on the carb with out removing it. There does not seem to be a screw for this I would like to drain it for when it sits for long peroids of time thanks..........

There's a plug on the bottom. On the 'H' model kdx small body PWK anyway.

Run the gas out of it every time you ride and you will probably never have to drain old gas out of the carb! By the way the main jet is under the same drain plug when you go to look for it.

John, running the gas out won't rid the bowl of dirt or sand. This crud tends to settle in the bottom of the plug.
