Fire out the Exhaust

Ok i have a weird problem. I have a Yamaha YZ 125 2004 bike. I haven't ridin' it in probably 3 weeks. It ran perfect before. When i went to start it up this time it still started first kick but sounded like it was reving really high. So i let it warm up a little and it never settled down. So i adjusted the idle screw to get it back down to a nice idle. I rode it around for a bit and it seems i've lost power. I'm not sure if the power band is even there anymore. Also a friend said he saw Fire come out the exhaust. Anyone have any idea's on why all of a sudden my bike is wack??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

how old is your gas?

Check that your float bowl is not sticking.

I put new gas in it... and drained out the old... also why would the floats all of a sudden just stick... it was running perfect before!!

if it is indeed the floats how do i check those? do i have to take the carb apart?? if so that sounds like suck!!

you need to pull the float bowl off you dont need to take the carb off just turn it so the bottom is facing out
