Wardy, I've ran quite a few races at your place over the last 3 years and have really enjoyed them I know you guys do work hard to get things right and I believe you run a good operation, I am in no way trying to slam you. I run little B, We were able to pick up our plaques at 4:13, My bad on the 2 hr comment and I apologize. It was close to 1.5 - 2 hrs from when I came in. Much of the delay were due to a few issues in which you mentioned above. I agree that the ribbons had been "blown through" in quite a few areas like you said, above the MX track and then also on the bottom below the starting area, it was pretty confusing and irritating to look over and see someone blast through an area while you are following the trail. A hotline is a hotline if it's within the AMA 's 25ft limit but anything other than that is cheating and I'm with you on that, there is nothing to be gained by it and it proves nothing. It sucks. I don't think Motorhead and I were the only 2 that made these observations, I heard quite a few of the same comments made. I don't really have any good suggestions , I think with the amount of quad trails due to your place being a riding park, adds to the confusion when someone gets off course. i'm all for the new ideas to make scoring easier and more accurate, I hoipe things get ironed out. I ran a race ealier this year in Kahoka MO (MCHS race) they used transponders taped underneath your helmet visor and then ran us under a "reader" . Information was was good , and done quickly.(at least at this race) On their website they had lap times posted for every rider just a few days later. I'm sure this system is big $, but it worked real well Wardy, It is obvious that you bust you ass getting things ready and do truely want to make things as smooth as possible. Again, Just some observations from myself , and I know that you do appreciate feedback and we appreciate the fact that you are willing to listen.Good luck at your next event, I'm sure you'll get things worked out, Greg
