GasGas FSE starting issues

Hi Guys

The FSE is an amazing bike when its running, starting it can be a pain in the right leg sometimes. How can I improve the chances of the bike starting. I am looking at adding the 04 model starter gears, any thing else? check tappets, close the gap on the spark plug? set the EFI to a different setting? all help welcome.

I had an 03 400 FSE and didn't have any major issues starting it? There's a small "button" on the throttle (sorry - don't know technical term for it!) which cracks the throttle open a tad. Utilise it before trying to start the bike - worked every time for me?
Apart from that - not sure what else to suggest really?
