Lately, I've been getting more and more scratches on the fenders and brush guards of my 01' XR 200. I'm still learning how to ride the bike so I expect to wreck it. None of the scratches are extremely deep, and many of them are from branches sticking out on the trail.

Replacement plastic for my bike is rather expensive and I see no reason to buy new plastic just because of a few scratches. Well, occasionally I see the commerical for this GS27 product that supposedly will remove scratches from anything in any color. It's about $17 for a tube and I don't want to just burn up a $20 for some fancy toothpaste LOL.

I wondered if anyone here has ever used GS27 on the plastic on their bike and what results they got from it. Or if you can recommend a product that has worked for you, I'd appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks!

Nope, not at all, no beans. Try plastic renew. Contrary to what other people say about it, it does work. It just takes ALOT of time and patience to go through the steps.
