Hello new to the site

I just registered to the and wanted to share some photos of my "new" bike. Its a 1971 DT250 that I got from the original owner for $150. I know its rough, but with the help of all you knowledgeable folks my son and I are going to rstore this bike and ride it for fun. Thanks in advance

Thanks I just finished totally tearing it down now comes the process of cleaning and reassembling. I am going to just give the frame a sand and paint and give the rest of the bike a good cleaning and reseal the engine. Any suggestions for where to get a gasket/seal kit? Thanks in advance

And I want to find a correct gas tank for it too.

Check with AMS Racing for the gaskets and seals. bikeboneyard.com might have a tank, I got a nice one for my MX 250 there
