my bike is starting but it dies right after the firing.
I figure its something w/ the carbureter.
ive turned the air/gas mix valve and done w/e i could w/ the valves but still the same problem.
my next step is to take off the carbureter and clean it out.
can anyone help me or tell me what to watch out for when cleaning the carbureter
thanks, ross

buy a manual and reset that air screw where it should be..... you probably have a clogged slow jet (pilot). unscrew and make sure its not obstructed - its small so you will need to make sure you can see through it (best bet is to clean it in a parts washer or soak it in carb cleaner for a bit and then blast it out with compressed air).
