I went to FMF to see what jets I should be using in my bike, I bought a SST pipe and delts v force reeds. They gave me suggested jetting but only for one elevation. When I got higher in elevation it would barely run - dropped the needle to the lowest setting, but it still wasnt enough. Is there a jetting chart for elevation anywhere? I would like just a general guide line instead of guessing.

I did do a search but did not come up with anything.

Sorry about the lack of info, I ride a 2002 cr 250 and my altitude varies between 1000 to 3000 meters. Has anyone thought about using a Holtzman vari-flow or atac?

colochris,

Rich or lean air/fuel ratios refer to the amount of air and fuel together NOT the amount of oil in the mix. Going from 32:1 to 40:1 actually makes the fuel/air mix richer as you will have less oil in a given quantity which means more fuel to the same amount of air.

Cheers
