Well, my 12 year old son just picked up a KX100 to replace the old YZ80 he sold. Got a screaming deal on it because it has the bottom end bearing on the crank bad. We'll be tearing into it as soon as he has the money to buy parts, but wanted to check and see what everyone's recommendation is for parts. I can get a Wiseco Hot Rods crank for around $130, or I have a place that can usually rebuild cranks, but the bearing got hot enough the crank weights are blue near the pin...Still safe to rebuild or better off getting new? Aftermarket or OEM parts? Any aftermarket other than Wiseco? Thanks for any input.

The Hot Rod crank is far superior to the OEM crank. It's worth the money to go that route.
