KX250F Valve Spring Seat

I bought a set of Faction MX valves for my brothers 07 KX250F.. They came with a set of spring seats, due to the diameter of the springs being a bit different than the stockers.

So I have to change out that seat, however, I'm not exactly sure what the best method for getting the stock spring seat out is..

Anyone have any suggestions?

They should just lift right out.

Oil film can make them feel as they're welded to the head sometimes.I just use one of those little screwdrivers the tool guys give away to lift the collar a bit and finish the job with a magnet.

I love those things. I always end up trying to use them as a mini chisel though, they don't like that.

A little brake cleaner & a blast of air, and they dropped right out..
