Hey guys, I'm a 35 year old guy just barely learning to ride. I go to 5 mile at least once a week to practice but I'm wondering if anyone knows a better place to learn cornering, whoops, jumps?

Don't jump into racing right away. Take your time to be competent at jumps, whoops, berms, etc. I rode dirt bikes for almost 2 years before my first race. If your riding place don't have berms then bring a pick axe and shovel and sand and make one or more. And see if the race track has practice days but don't go if there's lots of people because you'll probably get landed on by someone jumping.
