pipe effects

Got me a new (to me) bike. '02 KX250. It came with a PC Platinum pipe, which is supposed to be a good MX/top end pipe. Since I only ride woods, would there be that much of a difference in the power delivery if I went to stock or some other pipe tuned for low end power?

I've always been kinda skeptical about how much a pipe really does.

If you are riding woods get a fmf gnarly or fatty pipe and flywheel weight. Good luck!! :ride:

I paid a bit more than I could have but it's a nice low, low hour ride. Other than a quick spin around the parking lot, I haven't ridden it. And now it's just too danged cold.

Keeping in mind I'm coming off a 500 w/a flywheel weight, how heavy on the flywheel should I go?
