i was doin a topend on my bike (03 YZ125) a month or so ago and started cleanin my powervalve. i took off the cover and noticed that one of the petals was not opening when i turned the actuator arm. upon further inspection i realized the little rod that the actuator arm grabs on to to open the powervalve had fallen out. it was layin underneath the powervalve. i decided to JB weld it back in its hole and call it good. well i did a top end on it again tonight (did i mention it was a 125?), and cleaned my powervalve, guess what, both petals are missing their rods! :bang:  so, im wonderin if this has happened to anyone else, or if you've got a fix to the problem, the petals are $150 a piece (i need 2) and i dont wanna drop that kinda coin on a bike im sellin in another month or so. my dad said that we're not gonna JB weld them and sell it knowing that it didn't work last time, which i agree with, but i dont wanna spend $300 on a bike im gonna sell!
THANX for your help!!!! :)
