RB-Designs head mod???

Anyone had this this head mod done on a 220?

from rb website.

I mill the head gasket surface and re-cut the squish band. This mod gives a better snap and increases torque and you still use pump gas. This mod also gives good performance with great reliability.

What can you expect from it and what is a squish band? I am going to take my carb to him this winter and was wondering if this would be worth it. He only charges $40.

Yes - have it done. The 220 has a pretty low stock compression ratio - even for sea level riding. A high compression ratio is one of the main "ingredients" in a supercross engine and greatly improves the low - mid range "hit"

'Squish band' is the kinda 'flatter' area of the head toward the outside of the chamber.
