Bike in question is a 1997 Yz250.
If i set the spark plug (standard NGK plug) to .024 gap the bike starts very easily.... stays running but the ignition cuts out in the top end (if you step on it wont go it sputteres).
Now if i bring the gap down to lets say .010 the bike is harder to start but it runs 10 times stronger and it wont cut out.
Another problem i am having is, i am killing plugs after every weekend of ridding (5-8 hours)..... the plugs look nice and clean but it seems the electroids inside are getting burned since the bike (or any) refuse to start with this "perfect" looking plug.
