Does any body know if there is a hotter plug for the 300EXC? Right now, the only plug available for my bike is a NGK BR8ECM. They do not make a BR7ECM. I was told I could use a BR7ES, but I am kind of leary of that. I know a guy who is doing some research for me on this very subject, but wanted to know what you guys thought. Thanks Jeff

A BR7ES will work just fine in your bike. Another option is a BR7EG, which is a fine-wire plug and more resistant to fouling.

The BR7ES will work just fine. The rubber oring doesn't seal the dirt out very good on the BRxEs series plugs. You can just get a second oring to fill in the gap that the taller plug has or you can get a rubber booty like for a 96 KTM125.

This what I did for my 2000 KTM250exc and it works great.

They aren't more resistant to fouling, they just spark better with less voltage than the ES series does.
