My buddy is interested in sending in his 03 CR250 suspension for some work. What is involved with this service? how much $$$? how long does it take? He's 180lbs and rides strictly MX at the beginner level.

From a customer's perspective:
I've had Pro Circuit do the suspension on two of my bikes - 01 YZF and 01 WRF - one set up for MX and the other for woods and play riding.
The "works kit" was about $180 for the forks and about the same for the rear shock. Parts and oil included. If different springs are called for, that's extra. Labor is also an adder (if I remember correctly). Anyway. figure around $500 for a complete setup. They will quote you the exact amount over the phone before you send anything in.

They had everything back to me within a week of receipt. Very quick. This is a busy time of year though, so be sure to ask.

Much better control with the suspension work - saved my butt many times.
