I was just wondeting how long does it usually take for a top end to go out, and how much is it to replace, if you do it yourself, or if you have the dudes at yamaha or some **** do it

Well it depends what kind of ridding you do.. If your a pro which i doubt normally 20 hours. I change mine every 60-100 hours. Some people say they ride theirs for 200 + but who knows. It cost around 100-125 to replace it by your self. If you have a shop do it probably alot more

a service manual and a top end kit that comes with a piston wrist pin bearing and gaskets will be way cheaper than having your shop do it. and youll know who did the work if anything goes wrong. :nod:

With my bike power starts falling off after about 5 hours of riding... and I usually after 20 hours...

I have left a ring in for like 70 hours once, and it finaly went out... the bike still ran but just dident have much power
