Has anyone heard of turning you bike upsidedown and removing the fork valves with an impact tool? I had an experienced desert racer tell me that he does it commonly. He makes changes to the valve stack without removing the fork or changing tha oil. He carries a nitrogen bottle in his box van to power the impact and to charge shocks away from the shop.
It sounds feasible but potentially dirty to me.
