In case if anyone was wondering. I was the guy that had problems with the jetting after I put the 2002 manifold on. Well, it wasn't the jetting. I had the dang manifold on wrong. I didn't have the restricted part on the top. After correcting the mistake the bike ran good. However, It did gain power on the bottom but lost some on top. I guess you should expect that. I think I'll have to give it a try and see which I like better. Thanks for the tip.

I didn't like the lack of top end either so i took the 2002 flange and filed a few mm's off of it and now it is a little bit better on top and still better bottom than the 2001 flange.

new guy in here

I just bought my 01 cr125 at the start of spring ,as we all know the bottom was bad to say the least ,so Ive done some research here and afar and this is what Ive done too it..
Boyesen 2 stage carbon fiber power reeds
Pro X piston
2002 exhaust flange (with little Dremel work)
Cut 50mm off the silencer
Milled 0.010 off the head to bring the piston clearance too 0.040 from 0.050
I also use only VP C12 race fuel in the pig mixed 50/1
I run it lean

This bike is now a Rocket out of the corners,i cant tell you how much better this bike is since the mods ,and was pretty cheap to do..
I know this will stir some crud but i wouldnt run pump gas in
it if I had too..
Yes I can tell a big difference in the two
