LOL! Reed has something stuck in his head. I wonder what it is? :debil: He's still doing well, but I expected much more from him. I'll bet he did too. :)

Jesseman is a real surprise to me too. I never thought he would step up. I mean, he has that yellow bike handicap going for him. . . :p

Reed probably can't wait to get to the 250 class.

Reed will continue to fall down trying to run that pace...I feel kinda sorry for the guy... a great rider who came around at the wrong time... RC will spank him bad, then Stewart will move up, he'll get spanked again. The guy is a great talent who just hit some bad timing (ie: the Cobra and one of my favs ever.. bashin Tellie (hey Brenden :).
Sorry Aussies... maybe next time :p

Yello bike handicap?? Look at his consistency and improvement throughout the nationals. The bike can only do so much the rider has to ride. Look at Reed on the cheater bike. It can win - Ward almost took the overall and his season has not been the best this year.

Yes your right he talks bout going to the 250s all the time and how he should be in the 250 class. He had his chance at the US OPEN and what happend, he got spanked by carmicheal and most everyone else.

Reed is a good talented rider and i respect him, but he is to cocky and dosent ever give props to other riders. Its always him, so for that i dont like him :p

Isn't Reed riding with a hurt shoulder? A recently dislocated shoulder doesn't feel 100% for quite some time. I don't think we're seeing the best riding Chad has to offer.

Kyle Lewis has impressed very much this season, he should land a factory ride this coming next year, he definately deserves it in my opinion. Maybe there will be an opening at Kawi for him.
.
Props also to Nate Dawg, even tho he finished overall 4th, doing very will for his late entry this year.
What happened to the Cobra, I thought he came back a couple of weeks ago, or has he been out for 6 weeks now?

In my experience, the 2-2 always got the overall when two other guys swapped the 1-3 and 3-1. The AMA just gives a few more points for 1st, I guess.

Too bad ol' Ward couldn't get 2nd in the second moto . . .

At a local motocross a 2-2 beats a 1-3 due to second moto tie breaker but it would not beat a 3-1. AMA awards 25 points for 1st 22 for 2nd and 20 for 3rd. so a 1-3 would total 45 points as opposed to a 2-2 being 44 points. a 3-1 would also be 45 points but would get the overall due to second moto tie breaker.

How about The Big Bird Vet smoking that first moto win, he was tired in the second moto age has it's limitations!

I don't really see why everyone is bagging on Reed this week. Yeah, he's talked quite a bit of smack, and I don't think he is quite in Bubba's , or Jesseman's for that matter, league on the small bikes. But at Washougal, he showed a lot of heart in my book. In moto 1 he got a horrible start and ended up getting together with local fast guy Ryan Huffman. Both went down and neither finished. I think Reed took a header and was seeing stars and spinning pretty good so he pulled off. Then in moto 2 he somehow lost the header pipe and stilled finished top 5. Not bad at all... I hope this year has tought him the beauty of silence and that he will be flying next year with the big boys... :aj:

Reed will get beat like a drum in the 250 class, too. All I'm saying is that the spotlight won't be quite as harsh as it has been in the 125 class.

I was a big fan until he started running his yap. Bubba showed him what's up last week though. I caught Bubba's Unadilla show on Saturday. Talk about making a point? Reed will have to wear a disguise when he goes out in public.

Being there I would say that Jesseman looked very fast. Him and Ward stayed just a second or two apart the whole moto # 1, Jesseman just couldn't get by. Moto 2 he pulled away from everyone except Bubba. I was impressed. Reed crashed in moto 1, in moto # 2 his bike sounded terrible, I then noticed his head pipe was gone, so I guess fifth wasn't to bad for the moto. Ward let Jesseman get away in moto 2 costing him the overall. After moto 1 Ward said " I don't know how today will end up, but I can now say I beat Bubba in a moto.

Fonseca also looked good, but man I never realized how small that dude is. My 13yo is bigger. As expected the 125 races were awesome, the 250's were boring.

Good point... not many.
Looking at recent lap times (Unadilla?), Stewart is turning laps as fast or faster than guys like LaRocco, on a 125.

Why is bubba so fast?? who has he worked with that has helped him to get where he is now?? or is it just raw talent?? RC will pull off the perfect outdoor season. Is it that he is doing so well because he hasnt had an injure(sp) thats hampered him riding??

Bubba might be faster than most on his 125 (including the 250's), but he would kill himself on a 250. Good thing he's young. He'll get plenty of experience on the 125's (slow down to go faster) before he moves up, if he's smart!

Iver seen Chad race plenty of times down here. As I said in another thread last week....the 125's are finished Bubba is champ.....Chad's head is shot!!! He wont bounce back.......he's started like a bat out of hell before and then found it tougher as the opposition got on the pace...even in Australia. Andrew McFarlane (Kawasaki GP250 rider) beat him and Byrner in Supercross and outdoors titles the last two years they raced here. He just has to learn to shut up and ride and if he hasn't won......to just shut up.

Good call 2smoke. Another reason why he needs to watch what he says? After the first moto at Unadilla, "I got the start I wanted and was going to hang back, then Sorbe passed me and messed me up". Like "I would have had Bubba right where I wanted him if someone wouldn't have passed me", LOL. He needs to learn to give other riders credit and quit making excuses that's all. Even RC compliments other riders for cryin' outloud.
