I rode my friends cr125 with a small dent in the pipe, and i personaly didnt like it at all. It has absolutly no lowend power until its in powerband, and my friends kx-125 is much different. The cr needs alot of clutch to get it going and i dont know if its typical of 2003? Or of cr125s? My friend told me his rm doesnt hesitate at all and it has plenty of accel and then it gets even better in powerband. I ride a crf150 and its not even close to the power and handling i want. So does anyone have any say on that problem? Or are all 2-stroke bikes like that? Because im used to the 4-stroke roll on power.

i love 2 strokes.my 2002 yz125 has instant power in any gear pretty much, my 1982 rm125 is just as fast wen the powerband kicks in.4 strokes make good bottem end power but needs almost twice the displacement to keep up with a 2stroke.

I think 2 strokes are just fun to ride with all that top end. If I were going to try to compete at the local track I would have to lean toward the 4 stroke.

Thats what i figured, but i kindof want a 2-stroke for the price, its so much cheaper. So you guys would reccomend an rm or yz 125? Thats exactly what my friends told me too. So of the two what ones are more up-to-date? Or has the most bottom end in your guys opinion.
