i recently changed my rims. i have respoked them and trued them, and every thing has gone really smoothly. the next step is torquing them. any suggestions. this is the first set of rims that i have done, it seems to easy so far. any surprises to come when torquing?

DON'T TORQUE IT!!!!!!. Just get it true and make sure each spoke is snug and not loose. Take your spoke wrench with you when you ride. Go out and ride the bike easy for a lap or two, NO JUMPING, then come back in and do aa ping test on each of the spokes and recheck for trueness. Tighten spokes as necessary. Go out and do some more laps, ride a little harder come back in a d recheck. After a few of these checking sessions you'll get a feel as to how often you need to recheck it.
