Green Buddies!

Yes, I could have bought a Euro wich are mostly works out of the box! But, my blood runs green and I am dying to kick some KTM buttocks... However, I seem to have a suspension, motor and carb problem. Suspension designed for Barbie, motor sweet but needs CPR and carb needs a RB growth spurt from what I have read in this forum.

Requirements (01 KDX 200):

Bottom end that chugs when needed not giving up traction to KTM
Top end that revs forever and stretches out gears
210 lb with gear
I like to jump light MX doubles, tabletops, etc. 3rd gear stuff.
I want to learn to ride single trail to kick some more KTM toosh

Options:

Fredette Porting and Gold Valves

Local Tuner with no KDX experience

Jeremy Wilkey custom bump sticks
Eric Gorr Porting
RB Carb
Self Jetting

Okay, which way should I go. I have $1200 to work with.

One option would be to ship it to someone like Sage or Fredette. Spend $200 on freight and a $1K with one of them and you'd probably have a pretty nice bike.

Otherwise do option three if you can wrench and tune well.
