I just bought a tri z with a yz motor mounted on it. Was told it is an 86 or 87 model. Does anyone know what the transfer ports measure from the top of the cylinder? It has a pretty aggressive looking port job on it but the guy I bought it from is not the one that had it done so he didn't know much about it. Anyone heard of "Wild Side" by chance. If someone could post a pic of what the stock transfers look like, I would appreciate it. I am just trying to figure out what kind of port job I have. Any pointers would be great. Thanks, Kevin

take a degree wheel to it and give us some opening timing numbers .. this will tell how wild or mild it is !

I am not sure how to do that exactly plus I don't have a degree wheel. I will try to post a pic of it later.

Measure it properly or forget about it. Those are the options.
